Benchmade Knife Company started back in 1980 as a small shop in California. The name Benchmade was born in 1988. Two years later they moved to Oregon where they became the world leader in automatic knife manufacturing (still true to this day) and even began to supply military units. To this day Benchmade continues to focus on innovation, customer needs, responsible business ethics, and operations to bring the highest quality products to the world’s elite.
